I think mnuchin is trying to lose the case. Why else would the Treasury file a joint motion to unseal the documents?

If the Supreme court takes this case we are going to find out how liberal the Supreme Court is...is it socially liberal..ie libertarian in view...or does this go 5-4..which would be very serious meaning we have 4 socialist justices on the supreme court.

There is really no other way to view a 5-4 vote. I think the supreme court is more centrist and idea of nationalizing the GSEs smacks too much of socialism/communism will make this more of a unanimous decision in favor of the shareholder with all that has been revealed.
