If I understand this correctly, T-Mobile signed a three-year contract with tricascade and then decided to test their product AFTERWARDS? That seems counter intuitive and suspect at best. Does anyone else find that a bit odd?
We have great news to report! We shipped ten (10) Tri Cascade mPCIe66 mini NB-IoT Modem board samples(containing the embedded Quectel chip) to the T-Mobile IoT team in Seattle. They have been installed into our Outdoor AIR Quality Monitors and have been successfully connected with T-Mobile’s NB IoT network to run and fully operate. They are live and active, with real time reporting of air quality in that region. This is proof o
I have an update for you on our consistent step-by-step progresson the continuous effort by our IoT Team to bring our NB IoT mPCIe modem board to market. We have updated the CFS/MTR for BC66-mPCIe file v.2 and that has also been released. We are now presently undergoing the PTCRB test of the BC66fileand we expect this test will be finished with the lab by the beginning of September, 2019, with the final test report issued within two (2) weeks thereafter. This will wrap up the entire testing and release of the NB IoT BC66-mPCIe modem. For the BG96-mPCIe modem, which also requires FCC testing, we are presently working on the CFS/MTR for theBG96 version. We have produced 8sampleunits for certification process and will submit the samples this month. We also expect to test LwM2M this month, as well as testing the additional SMS function on the BC66-mPCiemodemwith NB IoT network. Since these products are designed for US market working with a specific telecom network, we are required to complete all of our testing here in the US to ensure full U.S compliance. What is the difference between a BC66 and a BG96 modem –simply the data uplink and downlink speed rate. The BG96 modem has faster data transmission capability. Either unit is the data driver within any IoT device –some devices, by their nature and use, require faster data transmission because they are used in more critical applications. So, please stay tuned valued Shareholders for additional exciting news as we push to bring our innovative IoT products to market,in concert with our telecom partner. Step-by-step we are making sure that all of our products are fully certified and compliant
On August 14,2019 I reported that were undergoing the required independent PTCRB test of the BC66-mPCIe modem board. I am very happy to announce that we passed the test with flying colors! This is another key milestone achievement in our evolution. This modem board is the essential data driver and the heart within our IoT devices –enabling data uplink and downlink transmission to and from our critical NB IoT applications. We are now proceeding with FCC certification and moving this product much closer to t
I am presently at T-Mobile USA’s headquarters in Bellevue, Washington state, meeting with the T-Mobile B2B sales team and the T-Mobile USA service activation team. After several months of careful review by T-Mobile USA, I am proud to advise that Tri Cascade has been selected as T-Mobile’s authorized NB IoT Service Provider as well as being selected as their authorized Wholesale NB IoT Connectivity and Product Integration Provider to their primary business partners and customers! 1.The monitor measures PM in multiple sizes, CO, NO, NO2, O3, temperature and relative humidity.
6.Data will be transmitted via cellular network. Thus, the site and positioning of the monitor at the site should be able to provide good cellular network signal. Tentatively, we are using T-mobile as the cellular provider.
8.The space requirements are minimally, a 3 x 3 ft area for the tripod with the monitor mounted on it at a height of roughly 5 ft

We first engaged with T-Mobile’s IoT Team in February, 2018. We then extended this engagement with U-Bloxfor Narrow Band (NB) IoT module development in March2018 and we began developing the NB IoT Ambient Air Quality Monitor with T-Mobile in April2018. We successfully showcased the NB IoT Ambient Air Monitor to the public at the PARKS Associates IoT Conference in San Francisco in May2018.We continued to test the effectiveness of our T-Mobile IoT Network system nationwide through November2018 and in that month,we delivered 20 NB IoT Ambient Air Quality units to T-Mobile’s IoT Team for inspection. We successfully showcased, live, our T-Mobile/Tri Cascade NB IoT network system at the January 2019 CES show and received a very positive response. At T-Mobile’s request, we then engaged with Quectel NB IoT chipset factory for further enhancement. In addition, through our CES presentations we were able to discuss with Duke Energy for the possibility TriCasade/T-Mobile IoT development projects.Last month, we submitted the application toT-Mobile for an exclusive 3-yearwholesale NB IoT agreement. We are scheduled to submit our final NB IoT PCle platform for certification and our proprietary multi-layer B2B Cloud System to T-Mobile in April2019, and we continue to refine our NB IoT Air Quality Monitor with the plan to launch this into the consumer market by third quarter, 2019.
As you also know, we successfully showcased, live, our NB IoT network system at the January 2019 CES show and received a very positive response. We are still receiving numerous follow up calls from some 400 business leadswho stopped by our CES booth!
One very important meeting that I had in Shanghai, China during my recent trip that I can briefly talk about was with Accton Technology Corporationand Quectel Wireless Solutions. Acction is a major technology power house based in both Taiwan and China (see Accton’s background information on page 2). We use the Quectel chip set(see also page 2 for Quectel’s background) in our IoT devices in accordance with T-Mobile’s requirements to use the best and most reliable chip set on the market! I had a very successful meeting with them both where we discussed the opportunity to jointly develop and deploy local NB IoT technology in China with China local Telecoms as SIM card telecommunications partners! We are in the process of preparing, for execution, a Collaboration Letter of Intent for the development relationship between Tri Cascade, Accton and Quectel.
