Releasing PRs "just to show they are alive" is not a valid reason. When the company has information to share they do so. I have no idea what questions are being asked of IR but I have received responses from both IR and Peter directly within the last month. I do know that depending on the question being asked you will most likely get a generic response, as usual for most companies. If the "question" is really a rant about the share price or lack of communication then I wouldn't be surprised that no response is given. Bitching to the company is not a good way to get a response. I'm not saying you are doing this but I know for a fact that people do.
The last two conferences the company attended were investor conferences, not medical conferences. New data is not presented at these. These conferences are for the company to get in front of their peers and large investors. Nothing ever immediately comes out of these. Marker has attended many in the past and will continue to do so in the future. No PR should be necessary other than the fact that they are attending. This PR was issued by the company.
