Chantilly, I have a slightly different perspective. The stock market looks forward not back. Lots of ultimately successful companies start off as reverse mergers into former shells that went bankrupt, etc. Furthermore, what this company was all about a few years ago is not particularly relevant if they made some good acquisitions AND those acquisitions are now developing-- which I believe is the case with PRED. The deals, collaborations, acknowledgement by world renowned research institutions, etc are all real and highlight the potential for this company. Therefore the beginnings really don't matter to me as long as what they have now is real and developing.
If the CEO has been traveling to China (as reported by others), and working with CITIC and something significant comes of that, then this stock is going to explode and nothing from 2 or 3 years ago is going to matter even 1%.
I have seen plenty of development stage biotech companies trade at or get acquired at $3-5 billion - just based on potential. That's a $10-20 stock price for PRED.
Yes, there are "ifs" and no guarantees BUT we have a $1 stock that was recently $7, a CEO working with one of the largest financial institutions in the world and a company with an incredibly valuable historical data base, Etc.
And potential ability to predict, diagnose and treat significantly difficult health issues.
So I like my odds and have accumulated a large position based on the above reasoning.

Pred solutions are too stop people from having to use opioids. They are not the only company that has that mission. They also want to end challenges with pregnancy. PRED is actually a great company for the mission of NOT medicating and doing it the right way

Can you name one single person associated with PRED today that was also involved at any level in the previous company that they acquired (GLHO) before changing the name to PRED? I didn’t think so.

There are many companies (on ALL of the exchanges) that have taken their companies public by acquiring the stock of a company that is already publicly traded and then changing the name and the classification of operations for the company. It is a faster and cheaper way to take your company public in that it saves tons of time and the associated listing fees are significantly lower. Bad example on your part. Try something else.
