There are so many times the opinions of many have proven to be of zero substance(including my own). No one knows where this is going. But, the direction has been heavily in favor of shorts. Statement of promise, albeit forward looking, simply don't matter. Empirical evidence(share price) tells the story. That's it. Leaving for the sell off then resurfacing to spew the same hope is a bad look.
