While there surely is some tax loss selling, I suspect there is a tug-of-war between shorts who are selling short when news comes out because they want to see the price stay under a dollar in hopes of big sell-off (and payday for them) if another RS looks more likely to avoid delisting, and those that are trying to keep that from happening.
Really not sure how it will play out.
It would have helped from both a psychological and supply/demand standpoint had management Form 4s showed significant buying instead of $1500. It appears retail is once again being heavily relied upon to carry the load.
Maybe they have some more big PRs coming that will do the trick.
