Personally, a viable option coming around the same time as Origami Truck is VW's ID BUZZ. The enclosed bed or locked storage is an important and convenient feature for me. I would consider other conventional style EV PU if they are price AND utility competitive with tesla. The announced price points for other makes have been significantly higher than tesla's and it will be interesting to see how and if legacy PU makers respond. Is there a way to get the same feature set, ie interior space, enclosed locking bed, ruggedness, performance and price points using conventionally design truck bodies? If it is possible, they need to do it ASAP. If not, are legacy companies going to follow tesla and do their own origami design?

TSLA - had conversation with PA reps to go over specs and dimensions vs standard garage sizes. Origami truck is too long for most garages. I am not home to measure but I think it is 22x24 so charging will have to happen with exterior connection. It is really more of a camper RV the way it is configured. I anticipate a shorter version in design studio for this reason.
