It's not through the RS that insiders maintain their shares. It's through the issuance of shares after the RS.

After obliterating shareholders in 2015 (more than 3 Billion shares poofed into 1,183,107 shares), management issued more than 58 million to themselves the following month. FWIW, that was almost 6% of the new A/S.

I guess they just forgot to RS their "compensation" packages, too.

She evaded addressing the point I made and gave you a stock reply concerning how reverse splits work. Yes, of course, the R/S affects all shares regardless of who owns them. No one needs to be told that. What I said happens, though, is that after the shares are reversed, new shares are issued to officers and directors to bring their holdings back to pre split levels, more or less. Unlike what happens to shareholders who get wiped out and if they want the same number of shares as before have to buy them on the open market.

For example. Going into 2015 she had 2,529,723,432 shares of AHIX. During 2015, AHIX did a 1:2500 R/S which would have taken that number down to 1,011,889. But in the 2015 annual, it shows she owned 65,228,854 shares.

And today, she owns 567,750,000 shares.
