It's not clear yet. It depends on what's already on the schedule and when the house goes into recess for the winter months. It's possible it won't be voted on until 2020 in the house.

They have already stated that a floor vote in the House will be in 2020. It will pass as it is Democratically controlled. It will then move onto the Senate, which is Republican controlled and unlikely to reach the floor for vote anytime under current Senate Republican control. They call Mitch McConnell the Grim Reaper, Bills reach him and they die, not just marijuana, all kinds. He is the Senate majority leader and calls the shots once it gets there. Just like the STATES act that was voted on by House Judiciary Committee and passed floor vote in House. It now sits and probably won’t move unless somehow these Republicans start getting paid. Luckily Mitch and others are up for 2020 re-election and would be beneficial for Marijuana industry if the Senate was flipped to Democratic control. Same for presidency. Needless to say, nothing is likely to happen anytime soon. Unless of course Trump wants to use his executive order or DEA remove marijuana from controlled substances list, both very unlikely.

Repeat of my post from two days ago:

"As far as the MJ bill goes, I think it is likely to reach the floor of the House, a breakthrough, and may even pass and go to the Senate. In the Senate, it would die the same death as 400 bills the Dems have passed and sent to the Senate this term. My only hope is that there are enuf pols making money off of pot and hemp (read McConnell, Boehner...) that we could be surprised. Doubtful, but possible.

Most likely it would then pass in 2021 when Dems control the House, Senate and Presidency. Sorry to mention party and raise the ire of half, or more of the board, but it is as everything today a political issue, and there is one side mostly in favor and one mostly against.

Pot legalized or at least reduced from Schedule 1 to Schedule 3 in 2021

The whole sector reaching all time highs in 2021 as well."

I would like to be surprised by the Senate, and it is possible for a more limited MJ bill to pass.
