I agree! BUT, I would add that the difference between a P2 and P3 success is not just one of degree but of kind.

To use a mountain climbing metaphor, P2 is getting half way (or 2/3rd) of the way to the top without falling off or getting killed and a chance to continue the journey.

P3 success is having gotten to the top! It will be followed by FDA approval, or a buyout at a huge premium, AND the opportunity to pursue other massive indications. After P3 we're in a different universe.
