I also am not an options trader. Just watching. Have read up on them.
Today the November options are dropping and almost no buying. The $3 call options are now going for only $0.03 Down $0.02 from yesterday.
Because the options expire in two weeks, and the price of the stock at $0.62 is so far below the call price of $3, they normally would not be trading period, and if so, the price would be at a maximum of $0.01
So even $0.03 is high. Could be insiders have stopped buying, and only regular people have bought today, on the off chance that something may be happening. A total of 38 $3 call options have been bought today.
Whoa!! I just went back to the option site to see how it is doing before I post this.
It's been less than 5 minutes since I looked at it, and 950 Nov $3 call options have now traded, 5 minutes ago only 38 had traded all day. And these cost the traders $0.05, up from the $0.03 that the options had been going for today. Looks like someone wanted to buy the calls, and they must have really wanted to buy them because 950 is a lot of calls, and they were willing to buy them at a premium.
Maybe something is going on after all
Just looked again, and now 1,069 $3 Nov options have traded. Keep in mind that normally NO $3 options should be trading, and if any were trading, the maximum price to buy them should be $0.01
