My boy, surely you know these are not the best of times for MLPs, right?

Some are backsliding while others such as McQuarie (MIC) announced it's putting itself up for sale in part or its entirety.

For more than 20 years I've been a very active participant in the sector but it was time to pull the plug.

There are alternatives! It got to be too painful, watching my gains evporate, leaving me feeling helpless like a roach on its back.

So I've moved on to other opportunities which struck me as the logical thing to do.

Now I await year's end so I can fully assess my effectiveness, hoping my YTD % gain is acceptable.

Meanwhile, I'll be checking in on NGL daily and hoping to see a meaningful reversal.
