I always felt that was part of what A&M was engaged to do.

BTW tax records would show the owner, for sure WMB was not the taxpayer for all the brick and mortar in their empire, doesn't work that way. And for sure JPMC sold the WMI
HQ building out from under WMI. Pretty confident that cash will be coming back to the estate.

hotmeat....I believe if you have the address of the bank location, and go to the county recorders tax files?, or property records, the owner of the property is listed....what makes me think this is so?....well, I have been getting numerous letters from real estate brokers who want to buy my property...I am told, that the way they get my name an address to send me the mail is through the county recorders records.. no other way that they can get my name an address, and that I have title to my property...it will show everything connected with the property, liens, foreclosures easements, etc... Lodas....

IMO, I don't believe the FDIC-R can confiscate the property that the bank sits on, without transfer of title..only the government can confiscate property under public domain, but they have to pay fair value for the land before they can get title...so does JPM have to pay for the physical bank and property?.. well we shall soon see.. This was researched on this very forum back in the beginning few years as I recall. It was determined that many, but not all, of the branches were on land owned by the holding company.

I do not recall the percentage of Owned vs. Leased.
