On my second generator. Had to rig up a starter with Dewalt drill and 18 inch paint mixer bit with zip ties. The pull cord retract spring broke. Able to zip tie mixer bit on motor crank and when it turned over the faster turning engine snaps the zip ties off. I made a hillbilly electric start! HaHa! I am in Arkansas! Of course I did this all at about 330am. Now wife can have her coffee pot going and hair dryer to get ready. Happy wife, Happy life!!!!!
