And we know that States are going to have to somehow figure out how to charge a tax on EV's to pay for their damage/wear and tear, on the highways.

This is exactly why Ev's and ZEV's are stuck in the experimental stages. All the hype in the world will not solve real life usage. The truckers know this. Many are trying out Ev's but all of them point to longevity.

This goes for NatGas as well. But NatGas still uses an internal combustion engine and his proving every day to be as dependable as a diesel. Many truckers have said the saving to NatGas is proving very profitable for them. I point to UPS, the leader in transportation as a prime example!!

As these units continue to put on more miles it will become apparent how cost effective NatGas really is

BTW a replacement battery pack for a class 8 highway tractor is about 50k. Compare that to an engine overhaul of 20k.
