HCTB, Why would BP want the FDA to grant a narrow label..."IF" BP has
the intent to acquire AMRN, then wouldn't BP want to have the FDA grant as broad of a label as possible now...so when they own AMRN they will be able to benefit in the future from the broad label being granted?

I appreciate your point of view. and I don't rule it out completely, but I don't think it is going to go down that way...(we will find out in about a month)..

We are all a little paranoid after 2013..I do not (as posted earlier) think that an extended (wide) label is necessary for this drug..Doctors are not all stupid and most of them are going to believe the R-I results..There will be the skeptics...but IMO they will be a small minority...I don't think there is much to be cautious about. Have you listened to all these drugs be advertised on TV...

BP...I hope this theory does not apply to any of the panelists or the FDA team, who will be deciding on the Vascepa label on November 14.

Many thousands, perhaps even millions, of lives are at stake here.
