50 Gbps devices with Gen 1 materials were being tested and evaluated by prospective customers. Devices with Gen 2 material was a completely different matter at the asm. I believe Siraj was talking about 5000 hours of testing for devices with Gen 1 materials.

Gates, I agree that they said they were going to continue on with the Gen 1 50gbs device which was already through R/T,but because the Gen 2 materials exhibited such Superior characteristics I am guessing the tier ones postponed/deferred and waited for the Gen 2 materials to be in devices and tested
