I had a great summer because lobster was so cheap. Many lobster fishermen went out of business. Some to keep their china clients sold their lobster to Canada to sell to their clients. Risky move but anything to stay in business and keep the light on.

 It takes 5 to 7 years for a lobster to grow to legal size in the ocean. A lobster at legal size will weigh approximately 1 pound.
