Hi Nuke; No, not correct. It's pill(generic) and wife and I have
used it for decades(?)! I have too few outbreaks to say if V helps.
Wife has more outbreaks but is not yet on V. Best Wishes!

Hi Nuke; To be clearer, there probably are topicals that use acyclovir, I'm just not uptodate on them, as we use the "regular" pill.
