Hi Lou, I can vouch for that. JL had a message I had responded to back about 2 months ago maybe later.

I have or had herpes simplex, I probably still do, but it's been drastically reduced. Any major lip tingling goes away now very quickly. Not like before where I would have a cole sore on my upper lip usually for a couple weeks. I don't remember when I had a cole sore since being on Vascepa.

Are you having issues? Not trying to pry. But it's been great not having any more outbreaks.

I am on pure EPA (not Vascepa cause we don’t have it here) for more than 2 years now. I notice that my cold sore “outbreaks” are definitely more infrequent and when it happens, the intensity is mild and duration to full recovery much shorter compare to before.

I have had no cold sores since starting Vascepa in April 2013. I used to have at least 1 per year prior 2013.
