Bus, be nice. Ignorance and dumb are two different things. You are correct in your analysis but many people have no clue about the difference between RSU’s and options. Especially if they never worked for a big company.

Are they like Roth IRA then Bus? You pay the tax liability, hold shares and they know it is going to go way up, they don't have to pay tax for the gain? sorry for my ignorance.
