In a regular bankruptcy yes almost always commons get wiped out since as you may know they are the last on the waterfall and the top dogs get priority. Usually when everything is sold out there is usually not enough money to reach common holders("the majority ownership"). My problem comes when after common folk get wiped out they find riches they supposely did not know were there.

I am not an expert I would not know exactly how this is gonna play out in terms of distribution. Ask AZ but in my opinion what really counts is the number of escrow shares that you have. Yes they will probably use the 1.2B not 1.7B shares to calculate how much money every common share will get.

By the way, the only reason we are here is thank to Nate Thoma who had the cojones to fight the system and the judge had no option but to rule in our favor since there was probable cause of insider trading...
