I'm only starting to realize the things we have lost as we abandon small farms, gardening and the rugged rural life that kept us connected to mother nature and each other while passing on important skills and essential knowledge that made us resilient and less dependent on vulnerable complex systems.I loved the new and improved world ,now I resent and fear it.I feel sorry for our children.I don't think they can find contentment or joy in this world.
