Gates, I couldn't agree more, and that is why I have repeatedly been saying that I believe the deals will be getting done in the near-term now that the R/T results are coming in GREAT, just as Dr Leonberger had predicted back at the ASM "the data will come and it will be GREAT"; and having the 100Gbs device well on its way to optimization, this being done concurrently in process flow along with the 50Gbs device now, and by Customer specification for those Customers in the "Design-In Cycle" under NDA agreements
Gates, the PPS is highly manipulated, the deals is the true "everything" that will unlock the value as it will end the use of LPC which at the current PPS is putting a HUGE drag on PPS by creating on average 40k shares/day additional selling pressure giving the manipulators an overwhelming advantage to game the stock
Gates, LWLG is tightly held by a grassroots small group of retail investors, that is why the Manipulation team protest strongly against posting the incredible FACTS from presentations, etc
Gates, LWLG is engaged with multiple Tier 1's in the "Customer Design-In Cycle" for a number of months now, in addition, Dr Lebby has been maintaining internal revenue forecasts, and updating them regularly, this is indicative of conditional deals imo, perhaps based on those milestones I have posted here many times
1) the successful R/T of PkM Gen 2 2) the optimized 100Gbs device (whether Gen 1 or Gen 2)
Also, as Jeunke has pointed out, Dr Lebby may wish to pursue another route to market partnering with a more Industry base Consortium as set out here
Wonder whether there is a partnership discussed between Photondelta, EPIC and Lightwave. Formalizing what has been going on for some years now.
The relationships with Lebby have been very close . Each of them is well aware of each others capabilities and need for cooperation and integration. Europe and Eindhoven want to be leading in photonics. A whole photonics infrastructure is being built as se speak and funds are available to make this happen. The need for integrating technologies is widely recognized within the photonics community. Pozo ( EPIC) is very enthusiastic about Lightwave and has been visiting Lebby at home in the US. Lebby helped Photondelta ( Bax and Ewit Roos) to assess the global market and to draw up the global photonics roadmap for the photonics industry. Lebby advises the European Community in Brussels on funding for promising photonics start ups. It means imo that alternative funding is within reach for Lebby as well, if he wanted.
One thing is CRYSTAL CLEAR, the Industry has a GREAT NEED for a modulator which can deliver at 80Ghz/100Gbs and LWLG has proven to have this device in hand! Let's also not forget that 100Gbs is going to be the leading speed being implemented for the next 5 years before 400Gbs overtakes it in 2024 (per Poet latest slides #10), LWLG is the only solution to SINGLE LANE 100Gbs, and, 4-lane 400Gbs simple/cheap NRZ OOK!
look what Jose Pozo, Director of Technology at EPIC,
I’ve just spent a great week at ECOC Exhibition, promoting the EU funded initiatives PASSION, PIXAPP Pilot Line and JePPIX-InPulse Pilot Line, enjoying our EPIC VIP reception and spending valuable time with our new EPIC Advisor, John D'Ambrosia, and the rest of the EPIC team. Some of my learnings during the week: the next step towards 800G seems to be an incremental 2x400G, which will give us time to optimize Silicon Photonics and InP integrated photonics solutions. However, the consequent step towards 1.6T will really require 200GBaud/s, translated into a need for 70GHz modulators. Which integrated photonic technology can enable those? InP, polymer, plasmonics, time will tell, ... and those will be exciting times indeed. Stay tuned, as in 2020 one of the focus points of EPIC - EUROPEAN PHOTONICS INDUSTRY CONSORTIUM will be going beyond 400G, with an amazing event to be announced very soon.
