PG said, Consequently, Direct Drive Modulators such as LWLG is marketing are a really, really big deal to the industry.

Yes, I agree 100%, LWLG's PkM Gen 2 is capable of sub-1 V and will enable the first and only DRIVERLESS modulator, this is HUGE!

The deals will be coming soon, but Dr Lebby will not take any low ball offers, he knows what LWLG offers the Industry in terms of true Next-gen solution is HUGE, just look at what investors learned from Jeunke (many thanks for sharing this info) a couple years ago

Two years ago ( approx.) I was present when a listed company in optomelectronics was llooking to establish a cooperation with LWLG, Lebby was present. He gracefully declined, telling the guys ( representing this company) LWLG was not ready yet. When the guys left, Lebby told us that the opto-electronica technology of this particular company was flawed and he did not consider a cooperation in the interest of LWLG. The company in question reached a shareprice of well over $100, later to fall back in the low teens. Whereas I personally was stunned at this rejection at the time, I now know Lebby was right. Lebby has said time and time again, LWLG needs to be ready, occupy a spot where no one can do the company any harm( by predatory low pricing for incumbent technology) and be ready to go alone. Being ready means unique and exceeding all product parameters on performance, energy consumption and reliabily expectations, IP protection.. I believe we are in that spot now. That is why I keep saying we are ready to move on

BTW, here are the prices for a couple different Modulator Drivers from ThorLabs, a notable photonics equipment manufacturer.

Benchtop High-Speed LiNbO3 Electro-Optic Modulator Drivers

Note the data rates these drivers support....yeah, that's right, almost $17K for a modulator driver that supports 40GBits/sec max...each. And every modulator requires an independent Driver. I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there in a non-benchtop version, but do they support 100GBits/sec?

I don't know the answer to that question.

Now you might be getting a feeling why Direct-Drive Photonic Modulators are a BIG deal.
