I try and temper the current trading price like this:
To date, I have purchased a certain percentage ownership in the company. Regardless of the current PPS, I still own that exact same percentage.
Nobody likes it when we see the legs getting cut out from underneath a great company. But it DOES afford buyers a much more attractive entry point and it allows current stockholders the ability to average down considerably.
Now...……...all this would be different, and certainly my opinion would be different if I were to see insider selling, or if they were to announce bad news, potential litigation, or any other devastating news. But to date the ONLY news coming out of the company has been that they are executing EXACTLY as their stated business plan has said they would.
There's a lot I don't know. But what I DO know is:
* Harvests are occurring on a regularly scheduled interval.
* There appears to be a high demand for their product.
* They have virtually no debt.
* The company's real assets exceed the current market cap....by a LOT.
* There has been NO insider selling.
* There IS insider buying.
* Secondary income streams are active and will be seen in the Q3.
* Insiders are heavily invested in the company.
* The company continues to be exceedingly frugal.
If I'm missing any bad news here, please correct me. The jury is still out on whether or not the Leigh Hughes departure was good or bad for the long term health of the company.
Much (if not all) of what we have seen in the past six months is industry wide. I'm not aware of any Cannabis related company which is up in the past half year. They are all down, especially the big-boys. That means that few investors are willing to put cash on the barrel head and many are taking money off the table. If that's true with the huge guys like CGC and ACB, how much more so is it true for a micro-cap start-up like NGW?
A current market cap of 18 - 19 MM US screams BUY and screams Value Investing. The assets could be liquidated for much, much more than that.
The tide will turn. Not sure where the bottom is. I've thought we were there before but obviously I've been wrong each time. Never-the-less, I will continue to add each week.
