Sounds like Acacia Communications. They probably wanted to use our modulators in their transceivers. They have since been acquired by CSCO for $2.6 Billion.

Time for LWLG to close a deal.

So what's next? Deals, more testing and optimizing? The last shareholder letter indicated that they still have more work to do on their 50Gbps modulator to make them easier to fabricate. How long will this take? Is this an impediment to doing a deal? Lots of uncertainty.

The last PR had this message from Lebby:

CEO Dr. Michael Lebby said, "One of the key challenges that came out loud and clear at this year's conference is the need for breakthroughs in new materials to better scale to higher data rates."

Really are there any other new materials out there? We have not heard of any. So if this "need" was loudly and clearly stated at the ECOC why aren't prospective customers banging the door down ("Katy bar the door")? No deals because the Tier 1s are in a "show me" mode? Do the Tier 1s need to be 100% convinced?

GATES.

a listed company in optoelectronics was looking to establish a cooperation with LWLG, Lebby was present. He gracefully declined, telling the guys ( representing this company) LWLG was not ready yet. When the guys left, Lebby told us that the opto-electronica technology of this particular company was flawed and he did not consider a cooperation in the interest of LWLG. The company in question reached a shareprice of well over $100, later to fall back in the low teens. Whereas I personally was stunned at this rejection at the time, I now know Lebby was right

this obviously was AAOI, which today sits at $10/sh with a $200 mil market cap, still 4X LWLG's mkt cap, but that will change soon!

LWLG >> Successful R/T and 100Gbs devices enabling 400Gbs NRZ OOK!

It's Deal Time!
