My PCP is an internist and cardio. I asked for an Rx to replace the fish oil pills I was taking and he initially pushed me towards Omacor. I provided him with some of the V literature and he was willing to write the script but said insurance likely wouldn't cover it.

I told him to worry about the medical side, and I'd worry about the cost side.

For the record, Cigna never said anything about my script. V is the only Rx I have.
