Justfrank, links- Based on the following it is my opinion because I didn't hear it firsthand.

db_ill_invest it was for larger bucks; like 100K, for the rights to skybot and invader.

olander I said nothing about Aero Delta. The money, I could be wrong on the amount, was paid to Bob Jones. It was mentioned at the shareholders meeting, by Mr. Huff, for the rights to these two designs.
