Not so sure about any of your predictions on Trump, McConnell, and the Congress, but will agree that if your scenario does in fact occur, the US marijuana industry will most likely sink.
McConnell has shown his colors and greatly favors Hemp of which he is pushing his own State to be the early recipient of any profiting.
Trump has shown his disapproval of the entire marijuana industry, and I believe he will only embrace it if he feels a need to pick up votes from it’s advocates, which it appears he does not feel that way.
If the House and Senate pick up more Republican seats, it only improves the chances of more Federal and State crackdowns on the jurisdictions that have legalized.
Marijuana is still Federally illegal and many Republicans intend to keep it that way.
A vote for almost any Republican is a vote against the industry and therefore a vote against yourself if you are invested in this industry.

You could not be more wrong about banking. The SAFE Act will pass both sides and even if it takes a while some of us are already banking companies on the deposit side. Do your research first so I don't have to waste my time reading your posts!
