Just go to the dealer parts dept. Talk to the parts manager. They have replacement mufflers in stock. Ask the manager to bring a muffler to the counter. Visually inspect the muffler. Do you see a brand name stamped on the muffler. Also, ask the manager who is the OEM of the muffler ( original equipment maker ) . Who is the OEM maker of the part listed in order manual.
Also, ask parts manager where are production facilities in USA?
Get phone numbers. Call one facility and ask to speak to a production engineer so you can inquire about the mfg. of the muffler.

RIDICULOUS. That’s the best word for all this nonsensical chatter about looking under Hyundai’s to see the mufflers! You have it stated in the 8K, with an attachment as backup!guys, stop letting these fools lead you down rabbit holes. The 8K is 57 pages long with attachments backing it up! What more do you need to realize that this RM is a LEGIT, big league company taking over?? Looking at a muffler??? Really? That will tell you that they sold one muffler. The 8K tells you NGEN ordered 800K mufflers in 2018 and future orders for 2019 and beyond will be separately negotiated on this 36 month agreement to manufacture. READ THE 8K and know what you know.
