The part you're missing is the optical link between the transaction nodes where the keys are exchanged. That piece doesn't exist today and would have to be built. Somehow I doubt they have the money for that.

There is a simple description of the system here: https://www.magiqtech.com/solutions/network-security/

ihaloss and Kurt.
I really don't know. I am guessing QMC's QDX's nanocrystal will be stimulated to produce a photonic signature or key. So does that mean that a part of the hard drive or a flash drive with QDX dots have to be with each computer in the block chain network? So the block chain information and photon signature are sent from one computer to another. The photons or quantum particles can not be accessed or studied for duplication without changing them so you know if that signal has been tampered with. How do you tie the block chain information with the key is over my pay grade here. Maybe Ted and help.

Kurt:
That's not an internet-based product. You're talking about something that requires significant dedicated infrastructure.
at one time for sure, but this tech has been around for awhile and really don't know how it has evolved to this point. Wouldn't you need the right hardware on each computer and right algorithm? Again I admit to being out of my depth here.
