I disagree. LQMT has a lot to lose, I think, by not protecting their trademark. In real estate, there is a thing called 'adverse possession' which allows what amounts to a squatter to legally take possession of property from the owner if he uses it for 10 years without any action by the owner to prevent it. I don't know if there is a similar law covering trademarks, but if there is, Kang could end up suing LQMT to take possession of the trademark on the basis of him using it without objection by the registered owner.
