So, exactly whose stupid idea do you think it is? The man who spent over sixty million dollars in Liquidmetal? Is he the stupid one? So stupid that he made a fortune? So stupid that he thinks he has something to protect? I should hope to be so stupid. Maybe in your world, stupid is the new genius.

It's obvious that some big things are happening and he intends to spend a lot of his hard earned money to defend the brand. That is great news for us.

All that is going to happen is for attorneys to make money. Period.

And what’s the problem with that?

It’s stupid John Kang was working with Arthrex about making 60,000 Liquidmetal parts per month earlier this year? There’s a difference between injection molding parts and coating a part with Liquidmetal.

Not to mention it confused the customer to the point they wanted to get confirmation from Bruce Bromage about the difference between John Kangs work and LQMT.

I disagree. LQMT has a lot to lose, I think, by not protecting their trademark. In real estate, there is a thing called 'adverse possession' which allows what amounts to a squatter to legally take possession of property from the owner if he uses it for 10 years without any action by the owner to prevent it. I don't know if there is a similar law covering trademarks, but if there is, Kang could end up suing LQMT to take possession of the trademark on the basis of him using it without objection by the registered owner.
