Can you imagine if the FDA says no to most of our requests, how completely foolish they would look. The docs and the media would be all over them, they don't want BAD news attention, nobody would want that. The FDA might seem archaic and slow and sometimes stupid, heck they are part of our gov't but only a completely fatalistic stockholder would assume anything negative out of the meeting. Forget about the past, from what I have read here there was good reasoning on both sides of the aisle and some mistakes were made. But today, a different time and pace one must remember, the FDA is in a different position with a spotlight on them, they would be fools to do the worst to us. I don't like the unexpected but seriously folks change is to be expected and not feared. The FDA is slow but they will get there, just is a matter of time that's all.

Here is a 'funny' scenario:

1. ADCOM votes unanimously in favor of label expansion.

2. FDA rejects label expansion.

3. Woodcock retires from FDA.

4. Woodcock gets hired by AZN.

5. BB gets locked up...
