This is an assumption on your behalf. I hope and wish it turns out to be true, but to state it as fact is wrong. What we all want to believe may not ever happen. With your line of reasoning, every new hire who has to come from somewhere is really there to effectuate a buyout from the company that person came from, really. So why didn't Mr Iness' former company buy us out or at least make us an offer?

Dr Duffy is the bridge between NWBO and Merck. He was put in placed to know everything about nwbo and partake in the process for FDA approval.

There is no reason to assume he would have anything at all to do with the approval process. He was a mid level employee at Merck who basically was involved with science communications with external parties and assisting the sales force.

He was NOT a high level exec. He did not direct the Ketruda program. He was not involved in discovery, development or regulatory.

He should be of value in setting up future trials with institutions. He should be of value in assisting/replacing Bosch in science presentations.

He is not some sign that Merk is in play.

Perhaps you should jump off Dr. Duffy (the bridge).

Eric, I agree w the 1st half of your post. He is a bridge/wheel greaser and will be a helpful conduit if indeed NWBO and Merck do some BD. But Dr Duffy, however, wouldn't blink an eye if another interested BP came along wanting a deal. After all, he works for NWBO and the BP that puts more chips on the table will get to travel across that bridge. Anyhows, that's the way I see it.
