Atom. Thx. Well if that’s the case ... clinical ASCVD only ( no additional risk factors ) on max tolerated Statins .... that’s a huge population .

No one likes Statins so it’s easy for patients to say they have taken as high a dose as they can tolerate ... no matter the dose .

Every single primary prevention enrollee in REDUCE-IT had diabetes. (And additional risk factors.)

The diabetes plus existing CVD RRR was astounding, btw.

I’m a T1-D and my father had 1st heart attack at age 41, died from heart attack at age 51(1959) and his 3 sisters also died from some form of cvd at an early age. .

I have had no cvd event at age 82. Blood pressure and cholesterol are controlled with appropriate meds.

Do you agree I fall within the group you and others are speaking about?
