I don’t want to read too much into what he is saying, other than the general feeling of the inevitability of OTC products containing CBD being approved for national sale, along with the idea that the pharmaceutical industry wants to keep the other cannabinoids (CBG/CBN/CBC, etc.) off the market so that they can be researched and turned into prescription medicines — that relates to the FDA’s concern about disincentivizing the pharmaceutical industry
No THC eliminates full spectrum formulations (public safety concerns)
No CBG/CBN/CBC eliminates broad spectrum formulations (disincentivizing pharmaceutical research)
Risks to public safety + not disincentivizing pharmaceutical research = FDA approval of CBD Isolate in a diluted form for OTC Foods, Beverages and Dietary Supplements
