R59- FRAN would have lost $3.2M from operations
if they didn't lower their S,G,& A by $4.6M vs the year ago qtr. Many companies with super low share count could do this kind of thing to jack up earnings, but it's deceptive. The fact that the stock was once $100 has no meaning at this point. This was a $2 stock only a month ago, and is likely being driven to the moon for the large short interest, plus momo gamblers. I wouldn't touch the stock, even if it went back down to $8. MIK made almost as much in EPS, their earnings aren't jacked up from cost cutting like FRAN, and they are a quality company in comparison. Yet MIK isn't worth much more than $10 IMO.
