Whoa crazy on FRAN. This market is hot! Never would have gone big on FRAN, but kicking myself I didn't snag a few yesterday. I didn't fully appreciate the sizable short position combined with the low float. This one could get squeezed even higher.

R59- FRAN would have lost $3.2M from operations

if they didn't lower their S,G,& A by $4.6M vs the year ago qtr. Many companies with super low share count could do this kind of thing to jack up earnings, but it's deceptive. The fact that the stock was once $100 has no meaning at this point. This was a $2 stock only a month ago, and is likely being driven to the moon for the large short interest, plus momo gamblers. I wouldn't touch the stock, even if it went back down to $8. MIK made almost as much in EPS, their earnings aren't jacked up from cost cutting like FRAN, and they are a quality company in comparison. Yet MIK isn't worth much more than $10 IMO.

FRAN getting another 20% pop today. After a Form 4 filing late yest showed a director bought 5,000 shares in the $11's on Wednesday. If I was a FRAN insider, I'd be more inclined to take profits after the huge run this week.

Wow crazy panic selloff on FRAN into the close. Was down over 25% to below $11!? Starting to look attractive again after the big selloff. Stock was over $15 yesterday and in the $18's a week ago. Maybe it'll keep sliding below $10, but I grabbed a few shares. Would have gotten more but didn't notice the drop til the final minutes of trading...and was busy with lots of stocks that were sliding into the close.

FRAN had that huge turnaround last quarter with adjusted Q2 earnings of .72/share. Management sounded upbeat on the CC about the turnaround continuing. Should be set up for more favorable bottom line comps on the way. Could post substantial quarterly EPS vs. year ago losses. Upcoming Q3 is seasonally another good quarter. And then Q4 is their strongest. Should be more runs ahead for this low floater.
