I heard the same thing and laughed.

But here's the issue...the timing of starting, enrollment, completion, etc. is just too hard to game out so why guess. I'm sure it was an educated guess back in 2016 and 2017 based on everything he knew at the time, but trails didn't start when he said they would and he got crushed for it. Because of that his alternatives are being very conservative and saying a date way in future or saying something like "in due time." For me, it shows a level of growth/self-awareness that a lot of CEOs don't have. I'm sure he would like to say what he actually believes is the correct forecast, but he doesn't want to make the same mistake twice.
