Empiricist1. I agree with your view that if the longs followed the Alpha-Sigma with concerted buys we would be close to dollar land.
Let’s hope we learned that lesson and jump on the next deal which should be coming soon!!

I don’t think the LONGS deserve any blame for the price per share action in the market after the announcement of the deal and the price ultimately sinking lower; IMO.

I guess if your suppositions are correct, then those college kids(late teens/early twenties) are a lot smarter than we old time longs.

Because it was a terrible deal. No new money would buy ipix on the alfa news and, as you say, old time longs are tapped out.
