Yanks.......I think that En Banc is very carefully weighing the options so as to not damage the government too greatly. I consider that good news from the standpoint that the feeling is a ruling for the plaintiffs.

On your second point about Calabria......couldn't agree more. Bisquick batter, lol. I think he will wind up simply following the directions of his superiors.

And hell.....if that $16 billion credit becomes restitution for the shareholders, we can all rest easy in advance from the proceeds. And the poor government wont be hurt all that much! Lol.

Do you think that Trump would allow an appeal? He wants to campaign on fixing housing. He wants this finished. Or, maybe he at least wants the plan finished.
Go FnF!

Simply stated, he waffles like Bisquick batter.

How so? By what I have seen of his public interviews, comments, and writings, he has been rather consistent.

The infamous comments about FnF possibly still being in conservatorship in 2024 (when his term ends) do not conflict with the "sense of urgency" and "fix the roof while the sun is shining" comments. The 2024 comment merely points out the obvious: that it is possible that recap and release never gets done and that FnF could still be in conservatorship in 2024; at that point if they are still undercapitalized he would not release them.
