Hi Rook,
I'm glad you were able to spend some time at Thanksgiving with your parents. As I have gotten older, I have realized more and more how short our lives are and how precious each cycle is. My 3 kids are now bewteen 19 and 25 and are still in the Seattle area. I hope they don't go too far away that would make it hard to stay involved in each other's lives, but I realize that may happen. I sure miss the years when the kids were in the 0-12 years old, you have some wonderful memories that will be made in the comming years (and a lot of work!!).

I live in Poulsbo in Kitsap County, so we aren't that far apart. We usually connect to the civilized world via the ferries to Seattle or Edmonds but we occasionally go through Tacoma via the Narrows Bridge (that new one is sure turning out to be an amazing structure).

We didn't get much snow accumulation, only an inch at my house but as much as 4-6 inches in the higher hills along Hood Canal. I hear that Bellingham had over a foot. We had a lot of icy roads and that messed up school routines and caused people to cut back on going out and about. I hope you didn't have to go out driving much. Are you able to work from home when the weather is bad like this?

I still think that AMEP is going to pull this off and CB will get over the setbacks and get production to the levels hawk, contractor, and others have written about. His success will help me be able to take more time for family and being able to visit relatives that don't live in the Northwest. It could make valuable changes in all investors lives.

Stay safe and I hope we get some good news before the end of the year.

Mike
