Impairment value is important...there's no such thing as a free lunch. ACB overpaid for its acquisitions using shares at the expense of ACB shareholders. Issuing say 100 million shares for an acquisition and then turning around a year later and saying that acquisition was largely worthless will most definitely drop the share price.

you're right that profit is an important driver of share price, but unfortunately only one MJ company has so far done that, and its not ACB. Of the big 3 producers, only one is profitable, and it will be a while yet until ACB gets to that point. A company needs to turn a profit in order to survive.
