I don't know, but I do know the trial is simply being updated.

The CI combo trial status is withdrawn. There is no more to that story-line.

When the status was only suspended you could reasonably speculate they planned to restart if and when the parties agreed. But when they set the status to withdrawn (and the actual enrollment to 0) it is not "being updated", it is done.

It is possible UCLA is looking for a different trial with the same idea. Maybe the UCLA variant (if the issue was coughing up a few million to Cognate to restart production and then the per dose cost), maybe a different CI.
