A lot of investors are undoubtedly on the run---fleeing the Margin Ghoul who may be on the warpath.
I'm not really buying into much of today's market activity, at least insofar as FRAN is concerned. When people are on the run, they are apt to make foolish blunders while others scoop up the tattered remains and capitalize on them. I'm hanging with the latter group.
What we're seeing in today's rout has nearly nothing to do with most of the stocks we hold but nearly everything to do with market-wide fear. I'll just hold my breath for a few days or a couple of weeks but I'm not about to roll over and give in to the fears of others. I gotta live my own life.
