I agree that there are many potential other applications.

Tents may or may not be a success. You aren't supposed to wash silk because it weakens and stretches when wet. If a bunch of troops are in bullet-resistant tents only as long as it takes for the first rain, that may not be successful.

Of course, we can imagine blending with other fabrics in a way that may result in a successful outcome. To get to that point, we need to be producing silk in sufficient quantities for testing. As far as I know, we may have supplied a few samples to companies that are excited (e.g., Polartec).

As many others have noted, production is the key to KBLB's future. I believe we are on the cusp of this moment and expect to see significant product deliveries around late October.
