Value per pound and price per pound are two different things. It's not the market price per pound of CBD rich flowers that matters to CW as they don't sell unprocessed flowers. It's the value of the undiluted CBD rich extract from the processed pounds that is the driver for CW:

Consider how much finished extract CWBHF will be stockpiling over the next 18 months while CVSI gets their sourcing straight. If CBD rich hemp extract prices need to go down in 2020 or 2021, who will be dictating?

The guys who will have harvested almost 2 million pounds of CBD rich hemp or the guys who are still purchasing low-cannabinoid fiber hemp?

What strain of CBD rich hemp are you planting? I'll be working with some Hawaiian Haze. Also, how positive are you that your seeds are 100% feminized?

I think having that plan for next spring is great, but you wont have your first harvest until Q3 2020. That's still great, but after processing, you probably wont have a totally finished and sellable product until 2021. Even so, it's still great. Keep it up good sir.

Mark my words though that over the next two years, you will be hearing lots of horror stories about people who bought lots of alleged CBD hemp seeds and got screwed with male seeds, weak genetics, high THC, or different varieties of seeds all mixed together with no way to know until they grow for a while.

Oh, also Kflawn, I did include in my analysis attempt that you could even cut the 2018-based $1100 per pound in half next year and they'd still come out with a massively high value inventory.

Sorry dude, last one I'll send to you on this. I'm not trying to sound know-it-ally either. I just love all this stuff and like sharing.

You also want to make sure you have a stable strain. What I mean is that a single genotype can produce multiple phenotypes. My HH seeds contain three different phenotypes that result in three very different looking plants even though they are all females. This is fine and even fun for my science experiments, but it is not what you want happening all over your farm if you want consistency and predictability. Another good reason to produce your own seeds.
