Why would FDA, out of the blue, tell Amarin they would have an Adcom and a date but still not have listed it and told Amarin to wait on announcement? I think it is more logical that they just are not 100% sure of the date yet but were pretty close so instead of just saying there is an Adcom and date TBD they were waiting to solidify the date and that's all there is to it.

Why would FDA care if AMRN PRs that then?

I think we both agree that this is not a complete story but don't think that FDA would care if AMRN PR'ed it if ONLY the date was not fully set yet. I think the reason is that this is far from the complete picture.

JT was shell shocked last night, rather hear from him a week after the event when he has a chance to absorb, he had nothing to add last night, not sure what the purpose was, didn't calm anybody. Anything he said or acted like last night I'm just ignoring and not reading anything into.

I know someone who knows JT on a personal level and I am told that he is 100% straight (as in honest). He is what he appears and never has any hidden agenda. I think he was shocked like hell and PR'ed it as soon as he could, even though it was against FDA's wishes.

Who wants to participate in a R-I Ad Com with FDA as a partner? Especially considering last Ad Com and what the FDA asked the committee to participate in......
