Toxic? Perhaps when the National Cancer Institute was building their safety profile treating for cancer over a decade ago at 5 to 10 times higher doses for time periods up to 2 years...when it was designed to be toxic to cancer cells.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is 273 produced TAEs over 90% at 5 weeks. Bryostatin was at less than 70% at 107 days in the dose used in the current trial on the FDA website. Most TAEs treated with aspirin. Plus we've already passed the DSMB months ago so apparently toxicity is zero issue.
