Most likely the buying shares the last few days of trading is people that shorted it buying to pay back borrowed shares.

Think about buying a ton of shares to make other people start buying, then sell at the top and then borrow to short and buy back shares around .02. For sure some smart people double ended that, it was a totally engineered run on no substantial news and with a stop sign...
